Our data centers

Lumiopage runs on a private footprint with primary regions in Chicago and Dallas, connected by dedicated fiber. Built for low latency, redundancy, and full data control.

Animated map showing the Chicago and Dallas data centers connected by the inter-region fiber link.

US Central

Chicago, IL

Primary region

  • Carrier-neutral facility in downtown Chicago
  • Tier III power and cooling, N+1 redundancy
  • Dual upstream transit, IPv4 and IPv6
  • Daily encrypted Postgres backups
US South

Dallas, TX

Secondary region

  • Hot standby for read replicas and storage
  • Independent power feed, separate fault domain
  • Dedicated fiber to Chicago, sub-30 ms round trip
  • Geographic redundancy for disaster recovery

Inter-region fiber

Private fiber between Chicago and Dallas

A dedicated path runs between the two regions, so reads stay close to the visitor and writes replicate to a separate fault domain within seconds. No traffic crosses the public internet between regions. If one region goes dark, the other takes over without a DNS change for active workloads.

Round-trip latency

< 30 ms

Replication lag (typical)

< 2 s

Public internet hops between regions

New regions ship as configuration, not rewrites. When traffic in a third geography justifies it, we add a node and the dashboard picks it up automatically.
